"Out damned spot! Out, I say!" Lady Macbeth could have really used this soap, just saying. Simply wet side of soap, rub well into stain, and wash as usual. Specially formulated to cut and dissove stains, this is an eco-friendly and people-safe alternative to the harsh, conventional chemical solvents sold at the store. It's your secret weapon for blood stains and grease or oil based stains, especially on colors that of course cannot be treated with regular bleach. Made with extra-strong grease fighting power and a blend of essential oils that are naturally good at breaking up stains on fabric. Will not bleach, fade, or lighten colors. For stubbon stains or stains that have been set by the heat of a clothes dryer, apply stain remover and allow to sit over night before laundering. Gets out most, but not all stains. For ambitious folks who like to make their own homemade laundry detergent, they will find this soap to be the perfect ingredient in their DIY recipe.

Tree Hugger Laundry Tips:
1. Skip the chemical fabric softener and use wool dryer balls instead. Sprinkle a few drops of essential oils like lavender or peppermint on them to softly fragrance your clothes. Fabric softener is bad for you and bad for your clothes, especially athletic wear.
2. In the summer, try line-drying items using nature's solar power to keep your house cooler, save energy, and reduce wear and tear on your clothes.
3. Use fragrance-free detergent if possible, especially for people with asthma or who are prone to allergies or dermatitis.
4. Throw a cup or two of baking soda in your washer with your detergent for extra cleaning power.
