Wholesale
Thank you for your interest in The Tree Hugger Soap Company! Please read the terms below and contact us with details about your wholesale interest. We will be able to provide you with a wholesale form with product options and pricing.
Minimum Order
Minimum order is thirty (30) units, which can be a mix of various product types. Sorry, we only accept wholesale orders and currently do not offer a consignment option.
Pricing
Wholesale prices are negotiable on an order-by-order basis, and generally range from 60% down to 50% of retail price depending on factors such as order quantity.
Lead Time for Orders
Due to the nature of cold process soap making (which involves a several-week period of "cure time"), we require a lead time of 5 to 6 weeks for every order involving soap that we do not already have fully in stock. For all additional products that we offer wholesale, we require a 2 week lead time if not already fully in stock at the time of your order.
Payment
We require 50% payment of the balance due at the time of order and the other 50% when the items are ready to ship or deliver. Payment is accepted as cash, check, or through PayPal or Square (all major credit cards accepted).
Resale Certificate & Tax ID Number
Prior to payment, please provide us with a copy of your resale certificate/number and/or tax ID number for our records.
Shipping
We ship via USPS and will use the most cost-effective option. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost which will be worked into the second payment before items are shipped. Items will not be shipped until payment is received. Our flat rate $5 shipping or our free shipping offer does not apply to wholesale orders. If you are local to the Cincinnati/Dayton/Northern Kentucky/Tri-state area, we would be happy to arrange a drop-off/pick-up to avoid shipping altogether.
Nature of Handmade
As all of our products are handmade, each individual item may differ slightly in appearance, which lends to and enhances the character of the overall mix of products.
Returns
Returns are not accepted on wholesale orders. If there is a problem with your order when it arrives, please contact us within 3 days of receipt.
